Wedding in Batesford
Ok so the day ended with me sitting on the floor behind the bar…bawling. In a good way!
Seven hours earlier…
The day started with the Joel and his mates getting ready and the little details such as, the suits ready hanging on individually personalised coat hangers, such a nice touch! The beautiful flowers were from Stems of Geelong.
Then out to the unique Dog Rocks Bed and Breakfast, Batesford, where Chantelle was getting ready with her bridesmaids. I may have played hide and seek with Jaylah the flower girl. (I’m not so good at hiding it seems!) Mr Zephaniah turned up for some pics with his mum too. So cute!
The ceremony conducted by the ever fabulous Nicole Penning took place in the beautiful garden of the Batesford Hotel near the historic bridge. A lovely little love-lock ceremony was held where everyone locked their padlock on to the symbolic tree. We traipsed off back to the BNB and took photos in the very amazing studio…a whole wall as a mosaic of the Tree of Life made from recycled china pieces. The Dog Rocks themselves provided another spectacular backdrop for the bridal party, and then we trundled back to the rather awesome Batesford Hotel. (Delicious food by the way!)
Chantelle and Joel performed a lovely choreographed dance, but then I was moved to tears during the father daughter dance. A combination of the thought provoking words of the song and the absolute affection between the two was why I ended up on the floor! Some of it could have been the heat though…
Anyway, it was a true and amazing privilege to photograph your wedding day Chantelle and Joel with your beautiful little children. I love taking photos of your family! You are both amazing together and an inspiration to me and I imagine to all your lovely family and friends. Enjoy this selection of photos from your wedding day. As always I wish I could fit more on the blog! xx
